Design focused architecture studio based in South London.
Wood Architects was recently founded by Matthew Wood with a focus on delivering high quality, crafted architecture. The studio operates across a range of sectors and has several private residential projects on site, as well as projects in the work-place, arts & culture and hospitality sectors.
Wood Architects are currently partnering with Studio TILT on a 5,000sqm workplace in 22 Bishopsgate, which includes the design of a restaurant, art gallery, event space and a range of dynamic work environments. The project is due for completion in May 2022.
Matthew previously worked for Craftworks Architects where he delivered The Chapel with an in-house construction team. The project was awarded the ‘Don’t Move Improve: House of the Year’ and was shortlisted for multiple other awards.
